An Evening of Academic Excellence &     City Elegance

Georgetown University’s Graduate Gala is the premier celebration of the graduate student community. Hosted at the historic Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, the evening brings together students from across Georgetown’s graduate programs for a night of celebration, connection, and unforgettable experiences.

Live Music & DJ

egin the evening with a live jazz performance that sets the tone for an elegant night in the city. As the evening continues, the celebration transitions into a vibrant DJ set and LED dance floor, bringing the energy of Washington, DC nightlife to Graduate Gala 2026.

Guests will enjoy a curated culinary experience featuring gourmet selections and dessert offerings throughout the evening. The menu includes a variety of options designed to accommodate different dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices.

Transportation & PARKING 

The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium is located in the heart of downtown Washington, DC and is accessible by shuttle, Metro, rideshare, and nearby parking garages.

Shuttle service will be provided between Georgetown University and the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium for registered guests.

Shuttles will begin running at 6:30 PM and continue throughout the evening.

Metro Access

The closest Metro stations to the Mellon Auditorium include:

Smithsonian Station
Blue / Orange / Silver Lines

Both stations are within a short walking distance of the venue.

Parking

Parking is available nearby at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center Garage, located just a short walk from the Mellon Auditorium.
